INSTRUCTIONS

  • Fold 5-1/4” x 11 card base accordion style along score lines: (mountain, valley, mountain).

  • Adhere the 1-1/2” x 5” (green DSP) to the left panel of card base. (set aside)

  • Inside:

    • Stamp sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink on the 3” x 4-1/4” Very Vanilla CS; adhere to the Mossy Meadow 3-1/4” x 4-1/2” matte. Adhere to the center panel (or largest panel) on the INSIDE of the card base.

    • Stamp fish, bobber, and “fly” in Night of Navy or Misty Moonlight on Very Vanilla CS scraps. Color as desired, then cut out using corresponding dies or “fussy cut” with scissors (paper snips).

    • Adhere a piece of twine (featured card uses Mossy Meadow twine) in center, using glue dots or liquid glue. Adhere “fish” to dop of twine, overlapping each.

  • Close the card, turn over, apply liquid glue. Carefully center the closed card and place on top of the 4-1/4” x 5"-1/2” Mossy Meadow CS. NOTE: The Mossy Meadow piece provides stability to the card, as well as a 1/8” border around the card base. Press down to make sure it sticks . . . you might also want to place something heavy on top just to make sure it stays.

  • Closing Panels:

    • Adhere each 3-1/2” x 1-1/2” fish DSP to each 3-3/4” x 1-3/4” Misty Moonlight CS. This provides a border, or mat around the DSP.

    • With the card base closed, line the fish panels so that they cover the front of the card base.

    • The top fish “strip” will be glued to the right panel of the card base.  Apply a 1” square patch of liquid glue on the top, right panel of the card base, making sure that you leave at least a 1/8” border on the right side, flush with the top of the Very Vanilla card base (there will be the 1/8” Mossy Meadow border).  Carefully place your top “fish” strip, making sure you still have the 1/8” border on the right, and flush with the top of the Very Vanilla (and, 1/8” Mossy Meadow).   Press, and let dry.

    • The middle panel will be glued to the LEFT panel of the card base.  Apply a 1” square patch of liquid glue on the left (over the “green DSP”), making sure you leave 1/8” border on the left, flush with the top of the Very Vanilla card base.  Carefully place your “fish” strip in that space.  Close your card and make sure both panels are even, and that the two panels are together, but do not overlap.  Press and let dry.

    • The last panel will be glued on the RIGHT panel of the card base. Before applying glue, make sure the piece fits.  Due to variances in cutting, you MIGHT need to cut down this piece to make it fit.

    • Apply the 1” square patch of liquid glue on the bottom, right panel, making sure you leave at least a 1/8” border on the right side, flush with the bottom of the Very Vanilla card base, flush with the panel above it.

  • Front Sentiment:

    • Cut out the Very Vanilla and Mossy Meadow ovals (using dies and Die Cut Machine).

    • Stamp sentiment on the Very Vanilla oval in Mossy Meadow ink,

    • Stamp fly and bobber on Very Vanilla in Night of Navy or Misty Moonlight ink.  Cut out using the corresponding dies.  Adhere onto Very Vanilla oval using liquid glue on bobber; dimensionals on fly.

    • Adhere the Very Vanilla oval to the Mossy Meadow Oval.

    • Place two dimensionals on in the center of the backside of the assembled Oval.

    • Close card, and adhere the Oval to the center of the card.
